Dedicated health professionals like you are able to transforming lives by offering their time and expertise to teach and train our health care provider partners in resource-scarce countries.

What’s Involved?
 

When you enroll as a volunteer we provide you with a list of existing and upcoming MediCart implementations around the world.

Once you receive this list you will be able to choose which country and/or project you would like to work on, and specify the amount of time that you have available. From there we will be able to tailor a specific volunteer opportunity which meets your unique skills and needs.

Please note that most MediCart implementations are done in conjunction with a partner healthcare organization in the destination country. As a volunteer you will be working closely with that local team and representing yourself and MediCart International accordingly.

Requirements:
 

• Experience as a medical professional (general surgeon, physician, registered nurse, respiratory therapist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, advanced practice registered nurse, certified nurse midwife, dentist, ophthalmologist or optometrist, or other health-care professional with extensive experience).
• Ability to travel for a minimum of 7 days internationally (in the majority of cases – no family members or guests are allowed).
